Worked in the inpatient hospital setting as well as in various outpatient mental health centers in NJ.
Am multilingual (speak English, Russian, Hebrew and Ukrainian) and multicultural (raised in former USSR and Israel) individual who is using such approaches in therapy. I view individuals as people who need understanding, significant emotional and mental support, compassion, empathy and who want to be HEARD and find balance in life.
In therapy, I use eclectic approach to presenting problems paying more attention to the milestones of development that the person has gone through starting from childhood and up to the present moment as well as personal ways of coping at different life stages.
I place emphasis on family and marital relationships, as being very important in understanding individual's struggle in life.
Work with all age groups. Sensitive to cultural and adolescent issues (work well with teenagers). Use play therapy with children.
